I need help locating members of my maternal grandmother's (Gloria "Dot" WELSH, m. Marin) family, many of whom are remembered as living in and around Manistique in Schoolcraft County. If anyone has information regarding families with the surnames FOY, FAYE, or CHEQUETTE, it would be an enormous help in establishing an accurate family history. Please contact Delia Snyder at croome@execpc.com. Thank you!

I am wondering if there is any information about a Wilfed PELON, who went by the name Peter. I have no other information on him as nothing is written down and no one remembers. He has a son named Wilfed Earl Pelon who married Dorothy ROBERTS. I am also wondering about Dorothy's family and if there is any information about them. Dorothy's father's name is believed to be Richard Roberts who was married to a Mable GRANGER in 1905.

Ellen S. SMITH DODGE listed in the Hiawatha census 1910. She was married to Francis DODGE who died May 1910. They were my GG grandparents. The married 1869, prob Eaton co MI. Her father was the minister who married them, but I'm stumped. If I could find a death certificate for her, perhaps that would list her parent's names. I do know her father came from NY and her mother from OH. Thanks so much. RichardMacIntyre@sister.com
